Citrus oils - The fragrance-rich oils are
recovered from the peel during the processing of fresh oranges. This oil
serves as the base for the Citrus Green® product line. Two primary
products recovered from the peel are orange oil and d-Limonene. Both
having comparable solvency characteristics and serve as an ecologically
sound alternative to fluorinated and chlorinated solvents. Orange peel
oils are also designated as GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) by the
FDA.
